Leather & Cork

Leather Basics

  • Leather Floors help you create a healthier home as they contain no harmful VOC emissions, no added formaldehyde and exceed California Indoor Air Quality standards, among the most stringent in the world.
  • Leather is an engineered product, well-suited for installation below grade, over concrete and even over existing floors. Depending on the application, different under lays may be required.
  • Maintenance of a leather floor is straight forward, simply vacuum or sweep your floors once a week or as needed.
  • We also have a tool that allows you to repair any plank in your floor, even if it’s in the middle of your room, with no power tools, dust or noise.

Cork Basics

Cork is a luxuriously soft, naturally comfortable and beautiful to look at, yet easy to care for...quiet, soft and warm to the touch, yet durable enough to handle all kinds of traffic - children, pets.

  • A Cork floor's textured surface is both natural and comfortable.
  • Cork is 50 per cent air!
  • Is impact resistant and is a natural insulator against heat, cold and reduces noise.
  • Is environmentally-friendly and health friendly - hypoallergenic.
  • Have a natural, random appearance that creates elegant look.
  • Resists scuffs and stains, and its textured pattern disguises dust.
  • Is very comfortable under foot and is warm to the touch.

Please Note:
Because Cork is a natural material, no two cork floor planks are alike... this adds to its beauty. Some color and shade variation should be expected. Always protect cork flooring from direct sunlight and UV light, to minimize fading! Use drapes, UV-protective windows and other methods to protect your cork floor from excessive sunlight.
